Merlin has the Big Book of Magic tucked under his arm when he opens a door and finds Milliways.

He breaks into an enormous smile. Yes. Study time, anything he wants to eat or drink, and no one will notice he's gone at home.

He curls up in a booth, orders bread and honey to eat from one of the waitrats, and starts reading.

Mercifully, Posner's time as a Bound resident of Milliways was quite short. Only for the day. And he was, at least, allowed to put on proper clothes at some point ( Read more... )
